Worldwide Vancouver University is a consortium of globally-located public sector and private institutions. (Public sector VSB-CE and its VTI were member colleges - the former for more than a decade. VTI presently conducts the Montessori Elementary Teacher program which Vancouver University's BC Montessori Teachers College commenced for the VSB in 1986, with graduates working in public and independent schools in Canada and globally). Kansas State (public) Barton College/EduKan has, in past years, also effectively been a member college (then linking to us and advising students about other opportunities beyond the associate degree). Member colleges of the consortia are variously and appropriately evaluated for quality assurance, and our degrees are authorized in statutory context. We collaborate in the quality assurance and other academic organizations listed here.

Programs (in UK terminology - courses) conducted by a member college are deemed accepted, tacitly or otherwise, in the territory where conducted. Jurisdictions vary greatly in the manner in which they tacitly accept, or more formally endorse, various programs - and the resulting certificates, diplomas, or degrees. In some jurisdictions, endorsement is proclaimed in extensive formal documentation. In others consent is tacit - for example, programs and outcome degrees are extensively promoted or advertized without objection and relevant local employers' organizations accept the qualification; or senior government persons attend graduation convocations as guests of honour, etc. The university does, however, comprehensively evaluate member college programs for their quality of content, their own internal mode of assessment, the professionalism of instructors, etc. To repeat, however - territorial acceptance is a topic dealt with by the relevant member college and local jurisdiction rather than the university at large.

We welcome entity requests for course/program credit transfer and simple identification in that context, or for more formal membership if interested. All source types - government, independent / campus-based, electronic - will be considered.

We particularly welcome public and private colleges which already subscribe to quality assurance standards like those in ABE and other subject-matter contexts. BC Montessori Teachers College commenced its diploma and degree programs in 1983 - progressively including, 1986, post-bachelor Elementary training on behalf of the Vancouver School Board. Our Early Childhood and Elementary teacher graduates work in public and independent schools around BC and the world. Peace promotion is an important factor in Montessori pedagogy.

COLLEGE OF I.T. & eCOMMERCE (CITEC) is an independent college registered in England and Wales to offer further and higher education to the local and international students. CITEC is managed by a group of academics and professionals in program-related subjects.

As a candidate Member College of Vancouver University Worldwide, COSMIC conducts its on-line degrees in Information Technology and also short diplomas and certificates.

CPPD, principal Dr B C Ghosh (author of a McGraw Hill and other leading publications), is a consulting service which in South Asia helps prospective colleges to reach member college status, and can provide contractual services to such prospective colleges both before and after achieving membership.
